| Sardine run - During the winter season, it is time for the most spectacular sea show! Called "The Greatest Shoal on earth" - an incredible phenomenon with around 3000 Botllenose dolphins, that travel with the thousands of sardines, amidst the feeding frenzy of thousands of pelagic birds.
Ocean Safaris - Ocean Safaris Shelly beach holds the official boat-based whale watching permit for this area. This means that you can legally approach whales within 50 meters - promising exhilarating and spectacular encounters with these giant mammals.
Crocodile Farm - Visit the popular Riverbend Crocodile farm - home to more than 200 Nile crocodiles ranging in size from new born hatchlings to 50 year old giants of 4,5 mt in lenght!
Lake Eland Reserve - Oribi Gorge. A scenic 35 minute drive from Port Shepston the Lake Eland Game Reserve ranges from herds of zebra and wildebeest to the small shy mountain reedbuck and bushbuck. There are also horse trails, hiking trails, mountain biking, and fresh water fishing available to visitors.
Pure Venom Reptile farm - Shelley Beach. This Reptile Farm boast one of the largest private collections of rattle snakes, pythons and cobras in the country! They also have many different exotic and indigenous snakes, green iguanas, monitors and crocodiles.
Beaver Creek Coffee Farm - Experience warm hospitality and the wonderful aroma of freshly ground coffee. Interesting coffee tours through the plantation demonstrating the process from "crop to cup" offered daily. Bookings essential for groups and also in season.
